On September 20th 2021, Punktum dk introduced a new service called registrar management. With a domain under registrar management, your .dk domain is managed through cHosting's client area instead of Punktum dk self-service. This means that as a registrant of .dk domains, you will be able to manage the following at our client area:
In the future, it will also be possible to manage your domain's contact information.
Your existing domains will not be affected by this. You can still manage registrar managed domains via Punktum dk's self-service portal. If you want to change the domain to registrar management, you can order a domain transfer via our domain form.
If your domain is already with us, you can contact our customer service to get the domain under registrar management.
In the future, all new domain registrations and transfers will take place as registrar managed domains.
If this is the first time you are registering or transferring a registrar managed domain, a new Punktum dk account will be created for you, regardless of what is entered in the "Punktum dk user ID" field. If you enter a user ID for an existing account that has registrant managed domains (the old account type), the field will be ignored. It is not possible to add registrar managed domains to the old type of accounts.
If, on the other hand, you already have a user account with Punktum dk that has registrar managed domains, the user ID can be specified in the field.
Invoicing of your .dk domains is handled by cHosting.
Yes. As soon as the domain have been registered, you have the opportunity to cancel cHosting (Fionia IT ApS) as the registrar via Punktum dk's self-service portal. If you want to move the domain to another registrar, you can use cHosting's client area to generate an authorization code (also called an EPP code) which you can provide to the new registrar. This can also be done via Punktum dk's self-service portal.
Please note that you will not be able to manage the domain through cHosting's client area if the domain is moved to another registrar or if cHosting is otherwise cancelled as a registrar.
